Cllr Helen Foster-Grime, Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing said: “We expect high standards from our police force and the new senior policing leadership in Stockport is also driving positive change. Through our joint work in the Safer Stockport Partnership they too recognise they should be held accountable when these standards are called into question. This is a very welcome step in the right direction and the building blocks are now in place to create a police force we can be proud of.”
