
In Bolton, a teenager has been injured seriously after being attacked and kidnapped. An 18-year old man was bundled into a car in Halliwell Road on Tuesday at around 12.35 pm and was attacked.
A 22-year old man was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, grievous bodily harm, money laundering, and possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
The teenager who is the victim of the attack has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He is in critical condition.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Police were called at 12.35 pm on Tuesday 23 February to a report of a man being assaulted and forced into the back of a car on Halliwell Road, Bolton. While specialist officers responded, an 18-year-old man presented at a police station with serious injuries. He is believed to be the victim.”
