Five arrested in early morning warrants in Bolton as part of crackdown against vehicle crime

Officers in GMP’s Bolton district supported by our Tactical Aid Unit conducted warrants at five addresses in Farnworth, Bolton as part of an investigation into stolen work vans in the area.

The investigation which was also aided by intelligence passed to us by the community alongside a meticulous investigation and proactive policing has resulted in the arrests of five people.

Five men between the ages of 20 and 45 were all arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.

Officers have also seized a quantity of drugs containing all classes of illicit substances and other items officers believe were used to steal vehicles.
