Coronavirus rates have been decreased last week and even some areas are Covid free regions now. According to the coronavirus map of the government, many areas in Greater Manchester have less than three cases.
Greater Manchester is in Tier 3 for coronavirus restrictions now. But it is expected that Greater Manchester will go Tier 2 restrictions after falling figures of cases and infection rates.
Many areas in Greater Manchester decrease their infection rates dramatically and became Covid free areas once they were hotspots for coronavirus. University North and Whitworth Street were high numbers of cases and infection rates but now there is no recorded case for the area last week.

- Dukinfield East and Hough Hill, Tameside
- Royton South West, Oldham
- Urmston East, Trafford
- Ashton upon Mersey North
