Pharmacies
Pharmacy opening hours on Christmas Day (Monday 25 December 2023), Boxing Day (Tuesday 26 December 2023), and New Year’s Day (Monday 1 January 2024).
Other pharmacies may be open, but they have not informed NHS Greater Manchester.

Winter Service (gritting)
Our Winter Service team will be on standby throughout the festive season. They will be monitoring the weather forecast and gritting all the roads and streets on our designated gritting routes when road temperatures are predicted to drop below freezing.
Rough sleeping
If you come across someone who appears to be rough sleeping this Christmas, Bolton Council’s rough sleeping team is available to help.
You can anonymously share a description of the person and their specific location by emailing housingoutreachteam@bolton.gov.uk or by calling the Housing Options Services on 01204 335 900.
