In Manchester, a huge illegal party with over 25 guests took place in an Airbnb flat. Landlord Corin Jackson rent his own flat on Airbnb for two people but the flat became a party place an illegal party.
Landlord Corin Jackson said that he accepted to rent his home for only two people for his apartment in the Vulcan Mills in Ancoats last week. He also explained that no extra guests are accepted and he has a front door camera to check the safety of his apartment.
After check-in, Corin Jackson checked the front door camera and shocked that dozens of teenagers started to come to his home. Corin Jackson wrote the message to the woman who booked the place and warned her that it is against both apartment rules and Coronavirus restrictions. The landlord warned the woman to leave his home with all other people but she replied no one will stay overnight and she can pay a £10,000 fine without any problem.
Mr.Jackson and policemen came to stop the party and the woman insisted on not leaving the apartment. After the party, pictures showed that the apartment was left dirty with rubbish and nitrous oxide canisters, and all damage costs £3,000.
That case is not the only case for Airbnb houses and coronavirus. The Greater Manchester Police shut down another party just a few days ago from that party in Angel Meadows in the city center. The Greater Manchester Police said that there are many cases against corona restrictions in Airbnb houses in Manchester.
