Police, paramedics, and an air ambulance were called to a report of a ‘concern for welfare’ at Weir Mill Ranges in Mossley, Tameside, yesterday morning.
A man has died at a shooting range.
The man, in his 30s, was hospitalized, but lost his life in the hospital he was taken after a while later.
According to officers, there are not any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death. However, they didn’t give further detail about his death.
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police said: “Police were called at around 12.30 pm on Monday, November 2 to a report of concern for welfare on Manchester Road, Mossley.
“A man in his 30s was taken to hospital where he sadly died a short while later.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and a file has been passed to the coroner.”
In addition, a spokesperson from North West Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the scene at 12.23 pm.
The spokesperson added: “We attended with rapid response vehicle, an advanced paramedic, ambulance, air ambulance, and a community paramedic.
“The patient was taken to hospital by the ambulance.”
