A little girl died because of a car accident in Bury

Ruby Cropper died in a car crash in Bury on Monday.

The girl,11, who was hit by a car while crossing the road, died.

Ruby Cropper was crossing the road with her friend when she was hit by a car.

When Ruby Cropper was hit by a car that blue Suzuki Alto, she was crossing Radcliffe New Road with her friend at around 4.30 pm on Monday, and then she was taken to the hospital, but despite all efforts, she could not be saved by medical staff. Ruby Cropper died on Wednesday.

“As Ruby was such a kind and caring person and always helped others, she has continued to do this in organ donation,” her family, mum and two dads.

“Ruby’s legacy will live on, and we have taken great comfort in this.

“Our family would urge anyone in these tragic circumstances to follow in Ruby’s footsteps and be an organ donor.

“We are all absolutely devastated, and a part of us has died today too. Our lives will never be the same again.”

Ruby’s friend didn’t get physical injuries in the accident.

The driver who hit the girl by a car,35, fled the scene, but then he made contact with police officers and then he was arrested.

According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP), he has been released on bail further inquiries.

Now, Police officers are investigating other sources that any information or footage of the accident to find more information.

Police Constable Phil Drummond said: “This is a desperately sad incident, and our thoughts are with Ruby’s friends and family at this terrible and heart-breaking time. Our specialist officers are supporting them.

Mr. Drummond asked anyone who saw or knew a blue Suzuki Alto in around The Whitefield and Radcliffe areas between 4.15 pm and 4.30 pm on 10 August have to contact with Greater Manchester Police.
