The crash took place on Lightbowne Road in Moston, Greater Manchester, at about 08.15 on Monday.
The girl’s identity has not been released yet. She was taken to the hospital on Wednesday, but she couldn’t be saved despite the best efforts.
Now, Kevin Pryce, of Quail Street in Oldham, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and fleeing the scene of the crash.
Mr Pryce will appear at Manchester Salford Magistrates’ Court in the next days.
